CAREER OPPORTUNITIES — Criminology Majors

A major in criminology prepares an individual for a career directly related to many fields. For example, people graduating with a criminology degree may find careers in sociology, psychology, law, statistics, and other areas. Criminology is primarily a social science concerned with those aspects of human behavior considered criminal because they are prohibited by criminal law. Criminology also studies aspects of socially deviant behavior which may be closely related to crime and may be usefully studied in connection with crime.
